Director Paul Verhoeven (Basic Instinct, Total Recall), brings us this terrific little World War 2 thriller dealing with the German occupation of The Netherlands and the resistance force struggling to take them down. Famous Jewish entertainer Rachel Stein (Carice van Houten) joins the resistance and transforms herself into the sexiest spy to ever walk the earth (my humble opinion) and very effectively uses her body to obtain secrets from the German military. This is an intense thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat for all 146 minutes. I would also have to put van Houten on my shortlist for best actress this year due to her incredibly brave and powerful performance. Special features on the disc include an English language featurette and commentary by the director.
